Empire State Plaza Visitor Center in Albany, NY on the Grand Concourse has a full selection of LiXTiK Lip Balm. This visitor center is part of the Taste NY Store farm to table goodness. All from New York State.

Owen Orchards in Weedsport, NY is an orchard with everything apples. Farm tours, wagon rides, candied apples, and a farm store stocked with LiXTiK Apple Lip Balm, among others.

Greenstar Coop in Ithaca just stocked up their bar soap selection. Our coop has a fantastic selection of local produce, including beautiful fruit.

Harvest at Ithaca Farmers Market

Did you know that most of the garlic you buy is cured and dried? If you buy it this time of year it's fresh. Fresh garlic is sticky, flavorful, and pungent! If you're a garlic lover, get some soon to experience fresh garlic.

Time for a peach pie. Or a tomato salad? Pizza with fresh tomato sauce anyone? That's what I made for lunch, with a fresh picked salad. Our farmers grow a large variety of heirloom tomatoes. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors! Purple, green, yellow, orange, and of course red. Sweet and tart. Try them all.

Liquid Soap Refill update

I am working on the final package design for the plastic free Liquid Soap Refill (almost at this point, since the labels are a plastic film). It's tricky to come up with a sensible design that functions properly, making it easy to fill the package and at the same time easy for the end user, to use industry lingo.

My team and I have been brainstorming and making and trying mock up packages. In the meantime, the bags are a great interim package.

One bag of Liquid Soap Refill makes 1 quart (32 oz.) of liquid soap:

1.Empty contents of bag into container.

2.Add water and stir. Soap noodles dissolve in minutes.

3.Pour liquid soap into your dispenser. Ingredients: Saponified organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, pure essential oil (scented only)

What's your opinion

We have used 100% water processed essential oils for the life of our company. The Lemongrass essential oil we have been using for the last 17 years is what I call grassy. We are considering replacing it with a more perfume-y Lemongrass essential oil.
