ThanksgivingThanksgiving is a time in the US for friends and families to gather, cook, celebrate togetherness, and eat. The Fall harvest has given us a lovely selection of food to warm us as the cold temperatures creep lower and daylight continues to decrease. I had the good fortune to wake up at 4am Friday morning (11/19). Luckily, I remembered to look out of my bedroom window. Right in front of me was the full moon in total Blood Moon lunar eclipse. It was truly amazing to witness something that has not happened in 580 years. For a few days after the Blood Full Moon, I think I was fooled. The full moon continued to linger all night and into the morning sky, giving the appearance of it being a little lighter earlier.

Lip Balm is still the best hair conditionerI did some more hair conditioner experiments. For a few weeks, I went back to plain olive oil after hair washing using the same technique as the lip balm. Then I had a very busy week and didn't condition my hair at all. After that I returned to hair washing and using LiXTiK as hair conditioner. Once again, I like the lip balm the best.I've added one small step to my hair wash method. After my hair is shampooed, I apply the lip balm, under hot running water and then comb it with a pick.
